Each cartridge contains 1 set of electrode pads and has the Philips “pull handle” built in. Just snap this new electrode pad cartridge into your Philips HeartStart HS1/OnSite AED to make it ready-to-rescue.

The Philips Heartstart Onsite AED Defibrillator uses two self-adhesive defibrillation/monitoring pads to monitor ECG signals and, if necessary, to deliver defibrillation energy to the patient. These pads (also known as electrodes) are provided in a single-use, disposable package.
HeartStart Adult SMART Pads are appropriate for cardiac arrest victims weighing 55 pounds (25 kg) or more.
All pads are sold with minimum 24months of shelf life upon delivery. Expiration date is noted on pads.
