Infant/Child Replacement Electrode Pads Cartridge for the Philips HeartStart HS1 AED. The electrode pads for the Philips HeartStart HS1 model come in a convenient and easy-to-use cartridge format.

The Philips HeartStart HS1 AED Infant/Child Replacement Electrode Pads Cartridge are meant for children eight years or younger, or for those that weigh less than 25kg (55 lbs).

Philips Heartstart HS1 Infant/Child Electrode Pads Cartridge M5072A SMART Pads reduce the defibrillator’s shock energy, so that an infant or child suffering sudden cardiac arrest can be treated successfully. The Heartstart Infant/Child Electrode Pads Cartridge is marked with an indication of the appropriate weight and with a teddy bear icon for ready identification.

Features:

• When the Infant/Child Pads Cartridge is installed in the HS1 AED, the HS1 AED automatically reduces the defibrillation energy to an energy level more appropriate for infants and children.
• With the Infant/Child Pads Cartridge inserted, the HS1 AED automatically reduces the defibrillation energy from the adult dose of 150 joules to 50 Joules and provides optional infant/child CPR Coaching.
• Electrode placement direction illustrates exactly where to place the electrodes on the victim.

The Philips Heartstart HS1 AED Defibrillator uses two self-adhesive defibrillation/monitoring pads to monitor ECG signals and, if necessary, to deliver defibrillation energy to the patient. These pads (also known as electrodes) are provided in a single-use, disposable package.

HeartStart Infant/Child SMART Pads reduce the energy therapy for younger patients under 8 years or weighing less than 25kg (55 lbs), including infants.

All pads are sold with minimum 24months of shelf life upon delivery. Expiration date is noted on pads.
